A Wind Advisory has been issued for McDowell County until 4 a.m. Saturday. Winds 15-25mph with gusts up to 45-50. 
WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph expected.
* WHERE...The mountains of western North Carolina, especially in
higher elevations, and in the foothills along the Blue Ridge
Escarpment.
* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A lull in wind activity is possible this
morning as rain tapers off while winds remain southerly. Winds
should shift to northwest and become strong and gusty again by
late morning to midday, then remain strong into tonight.
