NORMAN, Oklahoma (February 17, 2023) – The woman found at Lake Thunderbird on Monday, February 13, 2023, has been positively identified. Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) agents used Mobile ID technology to scan the woman’s fingerprints and her identity came back as Charissia Dawn Bell of Wellston. Her identity was confirmed by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
 
OSBI is investigating Bell’s death as a suspicious death. The Medical Examiner will determine her cause and manner of death.
