| Narrative: |
On February 17, 2023, at approximately 1:12 AM, Thousand Oaks Patrol responded to the 100 Block of Sandra Court, Newbury Park, for an Assault with a Deadly Weapon call. When patrol deputies arrived, they contacted Brennan Post and other family members who reside in the residence. During the initial contact, patrol deputies learned Brennan had shot his sister, Cassidy Snow. Shortly after, medical personnel arrived on scene and pronounced Cassidy deceased. Brennan was arrested at the scene.
Detectives executed a search warrant at Brennan’s residence and a firearm was recovered. Based on the investigation there are no outstanding suspects.
Brennan was booked for Murder at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility and is currently being held on a $2,000,000 bail. He has a scheduled arraignment in Ventura County Superior Court on February 22, 2023, at 1:30 PM.
