Police activity in 800 BLOCK OF CORRIENTE POINT DRIVE, REDWOOD CITY. No action required. 
At around 1pm RCPD officers responded to the 800 Block of Corriente Point Dr, Redwood City on the report of a possible shooting. Patrol officers,detectives,emergency medical personnel and crisis negotiations specialists quickly responded to the scene. They determined this to be a Swatting incident. Everyone at the residence was fine and there was no merit to the shooting call or any other crime.
Swatting incidents are the practice of making prank calls for emergency services resulting in a law enforcement response.
