SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN’S Elite Blackhawk unit removes guns and drugs from the streets of Clayton County!
SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN’S Elite Blackhawk Unit conducted a traffic stop on a 2011 Nissan Sentra on Jonesboro Rd & Interstate 75 South ramp.
An unknown male got out of the vehicle and took off running on foot across the interstate, nearly being struck by oncoming vehicles.
The BlackHawk units called for backup and a large perimeter was set up until Morrow & Lake City Police arrived.
K9 then conducted a track and located the suspect hiding in the bushes on the interstate and taken into custody.
A search of the vehicle yielded
1. (10) grams of cocaine
2. (1.5) oz of marijuana,
3. (1) AK 47 Assault Rifle
4. (1) Glock Handgun.
The suspects were taken to the Clayton County Jail without further incident.
This type of behavior will not be tolerated in Clayton County.
