The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Fire Weather Watch for strong west winds and low relative humidity, which is in effect Wednesday afternoon.

* WINDS...West to southwest 20 to 35...gusts to near 50 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Dropping to 15 to 20 percent.

* FUELS...Dry

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly. Any outdoor activity that could result in flames or sparks is discouraged.
