Today, Southern California Edison (SCE) will be conducting aerial inspections in Simi Valley neighborhoods utilizing 16 drone teams.  SCE inspectors are using drones to inspect equipment in hard-to-reach areas and from difficult angles. Today's inspections will conclude around 3:30 pm.

The focus of these operations is and always will be SCE's own electrical assets, structures, and right of ways that support their assets. These inspections are just one part of SCE's broader wildfire prevention and mitigation program focusing on keeping our communities safe.
