Update: Homicide Victim Identified; 900 Block of Clayton Place, Green Bay
With consent from next of kin, the Green Bay Police Department can release that the victim of a homicide in the 900 block of Clayton Place is Edgar Rodriguez-Hernandez, 27, Green Bay.
Green Bay Police were dispatched to the residence of Rodriguez-Hernandez on Saturday, February 11, 2023, where officers found evidence of a shooting, which also injured a 24-year-old Green Bay male relative, who was treated for serious injuries at a local hospital and released.
The Brown County District Attorney’s office charged two suspects on Monday, February 13, 2023:
Omar Hernandez, 24, Green Bay:
- First-Degree Intentional Homicide – PTAC, as a Party to a Crime
- Use of a Dangerous Weapon
- Attempted First-Degree Intentional Homicide – PTAC, as a Party to a Crime
- Use of a Dangerous Weapon
- Resisting or Obstructing an Officer
Jose Hernandez, 23, Green Bay:
- First-Degree Intentional Homicide – PTAC, as a Party to a Crime
- Use of a Dangerous Weapon
- Attempted First-Degree Intentional Homicide – PTAC, as a Party to a Crime
- Use of a Dangerous Weapon
The investigation remains active. No further details will be released at this time.
