SUBJECT: Subject arrested for lascivious acts with a child, contacting a minor for sexual purposes, arranging to meet a minor for a lewd or lascivious act
 
LOCATION: A residence at the 200 block of 1st Avenue in Unincorporated Redwood City and a business at the 1700 block of East Bayshore, Redwood City
 
DATE/TIME: February 20th 2023
 
INVOLVED PARTY: Aldo Ric Sepulveda Perez, 35 years old

The Redwood City Police Department’s Investigations Unit conducted an investigation regarding a subject who was suspected to be involved in soliciting minors for lewd purposes.
 
The investigation provided detectives with enough evidence to arrest 35 year old Aldo Sepulveda Perez, for the following crimes:
 
PC 288 (A), Lascivious Acts With A Child
PC 288.3 (A) Contacting A Minor For Sexual Purposes
PC 288.4 (b) arranging to meet a minor for a lewd or lascivious act
 
Sepulveda Perez was booked into SMCJ for the above criminal charges.
 
Search warrants of his residence and his place of work were executed where electronic items were seized. In the days to come, Redwood City Detectives will be searching the seized electronic devices for any other evidence of sexual crimes and/or further victims.
 
The Redwood City Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying any additional victims of unlawful sexual contact by Aldo Sepulveda Perez.
