Narrative:
On 02/15/2023, detectives arrested Quatrell Stallings for vandalism and robbery that occurred at a Camarillo motel.

On 02/15/2023, during the early morning hours, Quatrell Stalling was involved in a verbal argument with a female at a Camarillo motel.  During the argument, Stallings jumped from the second story balcony onto the hood of a parked vehicle, causing significant damage.

Later in the morning, the victim/owner of the vehicle woke and discovered the damage to the hood of his vehicle.  The victim confronted Stallings in the motel parking lot.  Stallings was belligerent and began arguing with the victim.  The victim used his cell phone to record Stallings.  Stallings physically assaulted the victim, stole his cell phone, and fled the area.

Numerous deputies responded to the scene, but Stallings was not initially located.  The victim refused medical treatment for the minor injuries he sustained during the altercation with Stallings. Investigating deputies reviewed video surveillance at the motel which validated the victim’s statements.  After viewing the video surveillance, deputies were able to positively identify the suspect in both crimes as Stallings.

Detectives with the Camarillo Investigations Bureau responded to the scene and assisted with the investigation.  Detectives used various investigative resources and developed information leading them to believe Stallings had fled to the city of Ventura.  Detectives canvased multiple locations and located Stallings at a Ventura motel.

Detectives partnered with the Sheriff’s West County Special Enforcement Unit to assist in the apprehension of Stallings.  Detectives contacted Stallings and detained him in his motel room.  Detectives searched the motel room and located additional evidence linking Stallings to the vandalism and robbery.

Stallings was arrested for PC 594(b)(1)- Vandalism and PC 211- Robbery and booked at the Main Jail.  Stallings’ bail was set at $110,000 with a pending court date of 02/21/2023.
