The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Red Flag Warning for strong west/southwest winds and low relative humidity values, which is in effect from 11 AM to 6 PM CST Wednesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* WINDS...West to southwest 20 to 35...gusts to near 50 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Dropping to 10 to 20 percent.
* FUELS...Dry
* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly. Any outdoor activity that could result in flames or sparks is discouraged.
