On February 20, 2023, DEU detectives coordinated with East County Patrol to contact English in the city of Thousand Oaks. East County Patrol deputies contacted English and arrested English for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. DEU detectives executed the search warrant at English’s live-in motorhome. As a result of the search warrant, detectives located 50 rounds of live ammunition.

English was booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility for an outstanding warrant and being a felon in possession of ammunition. English remains in custody with a total of $20,000 scheduled bail.

DEU is comprised of seven detectives, who focus on protecting East County communities by actively investigating illegal activities.
