Mother Of Murder Suspect Turns Her Son Over To SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN.. 
On February 19, 2023, at 9:21pm, Clayton County Sheriff's Office and Clayton County Police Department responded to Kendrick Road, in reference to a person shot call.
Upon arrival, Deputies and Officers found a female victim with multiple gunshot wounds. EMS transported her to Grady Hospital where she later died.
Sheriff Levon Allen responded to the scene and, after arriving, activated his elite Fugitive & Cobra Squads to begin an extensive manhunt for Hashun Jordan, who Clayton County Police Detectives identified and obtained a murder warrant for.
Sheriff Levon Allen went to the mother of the murder suspect the night of the murder and asked for her help to bring her son in without anyone having to get hurt and gave her his personal number. Tonight, the mother of the suspect called Sheriff Allen and said she would only turn her son in, but only to him. Sheriff Allen went to DeKalb County and met with the mother of the murder suspect, Hashun Jordan, and took him into custody without incident at 8:pm tonight. Jordan is now housed at the Clayton County jail.
