* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow accumulations of one to two inches. For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow, occasionally mixed with sleet and freezing rain. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 11 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Minnesota and central and west central Wisconsin.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 6 AM CST early this morning. For the Winter Storm Warning, from 6 AM this morning to noon CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commute.

* AFFECTED AREAS: DODGE ... OLMSTED ... WINONA ... MONROE ... JUNEAU ... ADAMS
