Winter Weather Advisory until 05:00PM Wednesday

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of an inch or less in the valleys and 2 to 5 inches for the mountains. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Northern Elko County, Southeastern Elko County, Northern Lander County and Northern Eureka County, Southwest Elko County and South Central Elko County.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong winds are expected to hold into evening for these areas with patchy blowing/drifting snow likely be present as well. Look for significantly reduce visibility and icy road conditions to continue and create hazardous travel conditions.
