Wilmington Police arrest man on drug charges: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On February 15 at approximately 9:47 a.m., members of the Safe Streets Task Force conducted a pedestrian stop in the 1300 block of East 28th Street, on a subject wanted for unrelated charges. Police made contact with 26-year-old Tavon White, who was taken into custody without incident. Officers subsequently conducted a search warrant in the Unit block of Courtyard Lane, and recovered 1.36 grams of heroin, and $2,472.
White has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver
- Possession of Marijuana
