Winter Storm Warning until 05:00PM Friday

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 14 inches with locally higher amounts up to 20 inches possible by Wolf Creek Pass. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. The heaviest snow is expected to fall tonight.

* WHERE...Southwest San Juan Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM MST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. A detailed map of the snowfall can be found at: www.weather.gov/gjt/winter.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SOUTHWEST SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS
