Alley Closed: 5500 White Oak Ave. & Walsh Ave. near 5528 Walsh Ave. for a resurfacing project. 
The City of East Chicago will close the alley between the 5500 blocks of White Oak Ave. and Walsh Ave. near the area of 5528 Walsh Ave. for a resurfacing project. “No parking signs” will be installed so the contractor can bring in heavy equipment and traffic control. Alley closure will start Thursday, February 24, 2023. The closure will last until approximately noon Friday, February 24, 2023—weather permitting.
Please note NO PARKING or TRAFFIC IN THE WORK SITE. Please OBEY the NO PARKING signs as vehicles will be towed at OWNERS expense.
