SUSPECT(S): 15-year-old Male Juvenile from Joshua Tree
17-year-old Male Juvenile from Yucca Valley
VICTIM(S): Town of Yucca Valley
SUMMARY: Between Monday, February 13, 2023, and Thursday, February 16, 2023, Morongo Basin Sheriff's Station deputies responded to several reports of vandalism in the Town of Yucca Valley. The suspects affixed graffiti on different buildings, walls, and park signs throughout the town. The total cost to remove the graffiti and replace the damaged signs was approximately $5,000.
Through investigation, Yucca Valley School Resource Officer Deputy M. Lomboy identified the suspects as a 15-year-old male juvenile and a 17-year-old male juvenile. Both juveniles were arrested for PC 594(a)- Felony Vandalism and released to their parents.
