* WHAT...Snow expected. Snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches.

* WHERE...Municipality of Skagway and Haines Borough and Klukwan.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 9 AM AKST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult due to reduced visibility and blowing snow. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light, dry, snow will fall Thursday night resulting in moderate snow accumulations. A brief lull in the snow may occur Friday morning before the second, stronger, wave arrives. The greatest snowfall rates are expected with this second wave Friday afternoon through Friday night before rates begin to diminish early Saturday morning.
