Good Evening,
The National Weather Service has forecasted freezing temperatures through Saturday.  Additionally, they have forcasted a 50% chance of snow fall in the Rohnert Park area through tonight until 7:00am tomorrow morning.  Here are some things you can do to be safe:

1. Stay off the shoulder of the road. Although stopping on the side of the road to take pictures is very tempting, it is VERY dangerous.  
2. Please drive safe, increase your following distance and most importantly, SLOW DOWN 
3. Watch out for BLACK ICE
4. Only use INDOOR approved heating devices in your home to stay warm.  Make sure combustibles are away from all heating elements.
5. Check on at risk neighbors frequently. 
6. Limit your exposure to the cold.  It only takes a short amount of time in the cold before you become at risk for a cold related emergency.
