On Thursday, February 23, 2023 at approximately 0100 hours, the Readington Township Police stopped Kevin Eichhorn Jr. (24)  out of Flemington, NJ  because he was traveling over 100 mph on Route 202. While the officer was speaking to Eichhorn he smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. Eichhorn failed the officers field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. Eichhorn was issued a motor vehicle summons for DWI and Reckless Driving. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
