Press Release: Felon in possession of firearm, criminal threats 
On Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 6:57 PM, Corcoran Police Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Brokaw Avenue, regarding criminal threats and brandishing a firearm. Through investigation it was determined Adrian Castillo pointed a firearm at the victims and threatened them. Castillo later returned to the residence and was subsequently arrested by Corcoran PD. Castillo was found to be in possession of 24.5 grams of methamphetamine and a .22 caliber revolver. Castillo is prohibited from owning firearms due to prior convictions. Castillo was later booked into the Kings County Jail for being in violation of 29800(A)(1)PC- Felon in possession of firearm, 25850(C) (1) PC-Carry loaded firearm with prior felony conviction, 30305 (A)(1) PC-Prohibited person in possession of ammunition, 11377(A) H&S-Possession of controlled substance and 422 PC-Criminal Threats. Castillo is being held on $130,000.00 bail.
