SEVERE WEATHER WARNING - HAZARDOUS TRAFFIC CONDITIONS-CLOSURES IN EFFECT
The National Weather Service's Severe Weather Warning for Kern County is still in effect until Sunday, February 26. A weather warning indicates a confirmed, current and present danger to this area.
Highway 58 is CLOSED in both directions from Exit 172/Mojave (East of Mojave) to Exit 123/Towerline Rd (Arvin).
California City Blv and South California City Blvd are both affected by accumulating snow and icy conditions.
Highway 14 from California City to Lancaster is currently open, but multiple weather related traffic accidents and closures are causing backups and long delays.

You can ontact CHP at 1-800-427-7623 or check Traffic (ca.gov) for updated highway closures and conditions.
