City Administration has been in direct contact with DTE regarding power restoration in Grosse Pointe Farms. At this time, the most current information is available on DTE’s outage map at https://outagemap.dteenergy.com/ . It has been confirmed that an area with the largest number of impacted residents, which includes Brownell Middle School and Kerby Elementary School, is anticipated to be restored this evening between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The City will continue to advocate on behalf of our residents and has requested that DTE debrief the City on this outage and the restoration efforts.
The Community Building at Pier Park remains open as a warming center.
