The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Kay County in northern Oklahoma... Northeastern Kingfisher County in central Oklahoma... Noble County in northern Oklahoma... Southeastern Grant County in northern Oklahoma... Northwestern Logan County in central Oklahoma... Eastern Garfield County in northern Oklahoma...

* Until 1015 PM CST.

* At 932 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Lamont to 3 miles west of Garber to 4 miles southwest of Douglas to near Hennessey, moving northeast at 60 mph. THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR LAMONT, GARBER, AND COVINGTON. HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* Locations impacted include... Enid, Ponca City, Blackwell, Perry, Tonkawa, Newkirk, Hennessey, Garber, Covington, Billings, Lamont, Kaw City, Red Rock, Marshall, Breckenridge, Marland, Hunter, Fairmont, Kildare and Douglas.
