State of Emergency declared by the City of Tonkawa Mayor. 
City of Tonkawa Mayor Ken Smith has declared a State of Emergency. The City of Tonkawa is in a city-wide power outage, caused by damages from Sunday evening's storms, and is currently seeking avenues to continue the water supply to the city.
Residents and businesses are ordered to conserve water until this declaration has been lifted. Additionally, all auxiliary power sources (generators) must be within code/municipal ordinances and operated in a safe manner. More updates will be sent via NIXLE Alerts, the City of Tonkawa's Facebook Page, and local TV/Radio Stations.
