* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following areas, Cook, DuPage and Will.
* WHEN...Until 200 PM CST.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded. Slow moving or standing water may continue.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 956 AM CST, doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain moving into areas with saturated soils due to earlier rainfall. Between 1 and 1.5 inches have already fallen, with additional rainfall likely. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible over the area. Minor flooding may begin shortly after the onset of rainfall. - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
