In the event of a Tornado Warning:

Tornado warnings are issued by the National Weather Service.  Once you are notified by the Hocking College Police Department, Athens County EMA Severe Weather Sirens, or other officials, seek shelter in the designated tornado shelter area in your building.
·        DO NOT go outdoors during a warning.  If you are outside, get to the nearest building.
·        All individuals should work together to account for people who were in their area prior to seeking shelter.  If anyone is determined to be missing, the area supervisor or a representative must contact the Hocking College Police Department to report the missing individual.
·        If any building damages or injuries occur, contact the Hocking College Police Department at 740-753-6598 to report them as soon as it is safe to do so.
·        If the building is severely damaged, evacuate as soon as it is safe to do so and go to your respective area as directed by the Hocking College Police Department.
