The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Thursday afternoon through late Thursday night.
* WINDS...West 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 TO 55 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 13 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any wildfires that develop could be difficult to control and will likely spread rapidly.
* AFFECTED AREAS: VAL VERDE ... EDWARDS ... REAL ... KERR ... BANDERA ... KINNEY ... UVALDE ... MEDINA ... MAVERICK ... ZAVALA ... FRIO ... ATASCOSA ... DIMMIT
