Power Outage Update: OG&E has advised their work has been delayed and is expected to take until 6pm. 
The City of Tonkawa has been advised, by OG&E, that their crews have experienced delays during their rebuild of the OG&E Power System (that feeds Tonkawa and other communities).
OG&E has advised that they expect to keep City of Tonkawa power off until approximately 6pm or later.
Once again, this outage and rebuild is out of the City of Tonkawa Electric Department's control as this is a repair of a portion of the OG&E system.
Due to this power outage, the Tonkawa City Offices are closed.
Emergency Services are still available and have not been affected and are still available. For updates, please refer to the City of Tonkawa's Facebook Page and NIXLE Alerts.
