Winter Weather Advisory until 06:00AM Thursday

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches.

* WHERE...Anchorage Hillside.

* WHEN...From 11 AM Wednesday to 6 AM AKST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light intermittent snow will intensify around midday on Wednesday. Moderate to heavy snow will then persist through the evening and gradually taper off Wednesday night. Northwest winds gusting to 25 mph may produce brief periods of blowing snow, which may reduce visibility. Driving on dry, fluffy snow is also likely to resuspend snow and reduce visibility as well.
