3 Murder Suspects In The South Main Street Drive By Shooting Now In Custody! SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN
On April 14, 2022, the Clayton County Police Department responded to the area of S. Main and Betty Tallmadge Ave in reference to a man found shot in his vehicle after a drive by shooting. A 911 caller advised they observed a grey Kia Soul pull next to a black Jeep Cherokee and gun shots rang out from the rear passenger side window. The driver of the Jeep Cherokee was Harold Irving, who was the sole occupant. Irving suffered a single gunshot wound to his back left side and, when transported to Southern Regional Hospital was pronounced dead.
The Clayton County Police Department conducted an extensive investigation, and through cell phone and other video surveillance sources. On February 24, 2023, Clayton County Detectives were able to obtain Murder Warrants for 3 suspects they identified as being involved in this incident. Warrants were obtained for Kenneth Hill, Myron Jones, and Gayla Michel for felony murder and aggravated assault.
SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN Immediately activated the Elite Fugitive Squad and the hunt began. Now today, just three days after warrants were obtained. All three subjects are now in custody without incident with two being captured by SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN'S Elite Fugitive Squad!
