* WHAT...Blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to two inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph. Reduced visibilities to one half mile.
* WHERE...Alaska Peninsula.
* WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to 9 PM AKST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A surge of cold air pulls out of the north across the Bering Sea and over the Alaska Peninsula this morning. Gusty winds and snow showers will produce areas of blowing snow. Expect reduced visibility's down to one-half mile. Winds will taper off through the overnight hours tonight but light snow will likely persist through Thursday morning.
