Wilmington Police arrest man on gun charges: 
The Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun charges.
On February 23, at approximately 3:25 p.m., members of the Street Crimes Unit were in the 700 block of East 22nd Street, when they observed 18-year-old Markye Chandler acting suspiciously. Officers made contact with Chandler and following a brief investigation located a loaded 9mm handgun. Chandler was taken into custody without incident.
Chandler was charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
