Deertrail drive has been cleared and the snow plows are back in service.
We are pleased to inform you that all three snow plow trucks are now unstuck and back in service. Our night crew worked diligently to open the lower roads, and the team is now focused on opening the upper roads. Please note that the upper roads are still heavily snow-covered, and only experienced 4x4 drivers should attempt to come down the mountain. Please stay home if at all possible.
We want to remind everyone to exercise caution when traveling in these conditions. While we are working hard to clear the roads, there may still be areas with reduced visibility or icy patches. Please allow extra travel time and reduce your speed to ensure your safety and the safety of others on the road.
Once all roads have been opened, our crew will focus on widening and clearing them to make them as safe as possible. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to make our community safe and accessible.
Thank you, and please stay safe out there.
