SUBJECT: Subjects arrested for illegal firearms possession, drug sales
LOCATION: 2100 Block of Middlefield, Redwood City

INVOLVED PARTIES: Alejandro Beltran Millan (46), Oscar Magana (29), and Jaime Reyes Vargas (35)
Media Information:
A Redwood City Police Officer conducted a proactive traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple moving and vehicle violations. Alejandro Beltran Millan (46), Oscar Magana (29), and Jaime Reyes Vargas (35), all from East Palo Alto, were contacted. During the initial contact, a handgun was seen in the glove box opened by one of the occupants. Additional officers arrived and the subjects were detained without incident.
A search of the vehicle revealed a total of two loaded handguns. One was a 9mm ghost gun (a privately made firearm that doesn’t have a serial number). The other firearm was a Ruger 5.7 mm, which contained live rounds designed to penetrate body armor. Also located inside the vehicle was cocaine that was packaged for sale.
All three subjects were booked on various firearm and drug sale violations.
We commend these Redwood City Police Officers for their vigilance and their constant strive to keep our City as safe as possible.
