* WHAT...Significant icing expected. Ice accumulation from freezing rain around two to four tenths of an inch. Total snow and sleet accumulation accumulations of up to one inch. East to southeast wind gusts around 40 to 50 mph are expected.

* WHERE...In Maryland, Garrett and Extreme Western Allegany Counties. In West Virginia, Western Mineral County.

* WHEN...From 7 AM to 11 PM EST Friday. A wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain will overspread the area between between 6 AM and 9 AM Friday morning. Precipitation will change to freezing rain Friday afternoon before changing to rain Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice and strong winds. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning and evening commute.
