National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Tennessee... South Fork of the Forked Deer near Halls affecting Lauderdale, Dyer and Crockett counties.

For the South Fork Forked Deer River.... Including Jackson, Halls... Minor flooding is forecast.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions... Turn Around Don't Drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

* What... Minor flooding is occuring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Where... South Fork of the Forked Deer near Halls.
* When... Until late Sunday evening.
* Impacts... At 14.0 feet, flood water is flowing over several low-lying roads near the river and access to low-lying arears will be limited to high water.

Additional details...
-At 9:00 am Friday the stage was 12.5 feet.
-Recent activity... The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 am Friday is expected to rise to a crest of 13.4 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon. 
-Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
-Flood history... This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.5 feet on 12/05/2001.
