Flood Warning until 09:45PM Friday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of East Central Indiana and Southeast Indiana, including the following counties, in East Central Indiana, Fayette IN, Union IN and Wayne. In Southeast Indiana, Franklin IN.

* WHEN...Until 945 PM EST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 725 PM EST, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy was largely diminishing over the warned area, but flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. Flooding will linger through much of the evening. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Richmond, Connersville, Centerville, Cambridge City, Liberty, Hagerstown, Fountain City, Dublin, West College Corner, Franklin, Salem, Waterloo, Columbia, Bunker Hill, Abington, Brownsville, Milton, Greens Fork, East Germantown and Spring Grove.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FAYETTE, IN ... FRANKLIN, IN ... UNION, IN ... WAYNE, IN

To report flooding, go to our website at weather.gov/iln and submit your report via social media, when you can do so safely. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
