Advisory
On 03-03-23 at 2:20pm, two Janesville Police Officers observed a vehicle at the intersection of S. Main St and E. Racine St. which had been involved in a shots fired incident in the City of Beloit. The officers attempted to stop the vehicle and it fled leading them on a short pursuit. The officers lost sight of the vehicle. A Rock County Deputy located the vehicle a short time later in the 600 Blk of S. Main St. Officers learned the suspects may be inside the residence and surrounded the house. Five different people exited the residence after commands were given over a PA system.
At this time this is still an ongoing investigation by the Beloit Police Department and Janesville Police Department. The Janesville Police Department was assisted by Beloit Police Detectives, Rock County Deputies, Janesville Fire Department and Rock County K9 Kamo.
At this time there is no danger to the community.
