Flood Warning until 05:15AM Saturday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by earlier excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of Central Ohio and West Central Ohio, including the following counties, in Central Ohio, Franklin OH and Madison. In West Central Ohio, Clark.

* WHEN...Until 515 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed or have lingering high water across the warning area. Streams continue to rise or will be slow to recede due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings may be inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 907 PM EST, local law enforcement reported flooding in multiple locations, with several roads remaining closed, especially in Gernman Township in Clark County, and several roads remain closed in Franklin county. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Columbus, Springfield, Dublin, Westerville, Reynoldsburg, Grove City, Upper Arlington, Gahanna, Hilliard, Pickerington, Worthington, Bexley, London, New Carlisle, Jefferson, Northridge, Canal Winchester, Groveport, West Jefferson and Minerva Park.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CLARK, OH ... FRANKLIN, OH ... MADISON, OH

Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
