Flood Warning until 09:00AM Saturday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of East Central Indiana and Southeast Indiana, including the following counties, in East Central Indiana, Fayette IN, Union IN and Wayne. In Southeast Indiana, Franklin IN.

* WHEN...Until 900 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Streams continue to rise, or may be slow to recede due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 920 PM EST, local law enforcement reported flooding in numerous locations across the warned area, with several roads still closed due to high water. Between 2.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Richmond, Connersville, Centerville, Cambridge City, Liberty, Hagerstown, Fountain City, Dublin, West College Corner, Franklin, Salem, Waterloo, Columbia, Bunker Hill, Abington, Brownsville, Milton, Greens Fork, East Germantown and Spring Grove.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FAYETTE, IN ... FRANKLIN, IN ... UNION, IN ... WAYNE, IN

To report flooding, go to our website at weather.gov/iln and submit your report via social media, when you can do so safely. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
