NARRATIVE:

On Saturday, March 4, 2023; Officers from Pomona Police Department's, Major Crimes Task Force (MCTF) were conducting a follow up investigation in regards to several complaints from community members of possible narcotics sales in the East Holt Ave corridor. MCTF officers observed what they believed to be “hand to hand” narcotics sales near a vehicle in the parking lot at the 600 block of East Holt Ave. Officers conducted a traffic stop of that vehicle once it left the area for numerous vehicle code violations. During the contact, officers were able to see illegal narcotics inside the vehicle. A more thorough search of the vehicle revealed additional narcotics, evidence of narcotics sales, and a loaded firearm.

Mr. Lindsey is a previously convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing a firearm. He was placed under arrest for the firearm and narcotics in his possession. During the course of the investigation, Mr. Lindsey threatened to shoot and kill one of the officers. Mr. Lindsey was booked at the Pomona city jail.
