Police Seek the Public’s Help in Identifying Shooting Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help in identifying the below-pictured male suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
Just before 3 a.m., Police responded to the 700 block of South 14th Street on a call of shots fired. No injuries have been reported but Police located shell casings in the area. Detectives observed the depicted suspect on surveillance camera.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the identity of this suspect vehicle to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
