Narrative:

On 1-25-23, Major Crimes Sexual Assault Detectives began an investigation involving a female juvenile victim and (S) Kevin Rojas. The juvenile victim and Rojas were co-workers at a local Thousand Oaks restaurant and began having an intimate sexual relationship that included a variety of sexual acts. Rojas video recorded some of the sexual activity and later sent the videos to the juvenile victim. In addition, Rojas supplied the juvenile victim with methamphetamine on several occasions.
During the investigation, Detectives learned Rojas also exchanged intimate body pictures with another female juvenile at the same restaurant.
On 3-1-23, Detectives arrested Rojas for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who was more than three years older than the victim, Sodomy against a minor, Oral copulation with a person under the age of 18, Possession of child pornography, Knowingly send or bring into state, or possess, produce, or print child pornography for distribution, Distribution of child pornography to a person under the age of 18, and being a person 18 years of age or over who unlawfully furnished a controlled substance to a minor. Rojas’ bail was set at $500,000.
This investigation is currently ongoing. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office believes there could be additional victims.
