Ontario PD- Pick-pocket Suspects Arrested 
On Sunday, March 5th, 2023, Ontario PD arrested Sebastian Martinez and Luz Beltran-Sanchez (both from Los Angeles) during an undercover operation related to recent pick-pocketing thefts in the City of Ontario. Officers recognized these two suspects from previous pick-pocket thefts and took them into custody. Martinez and Sanchez were booked at the West Valley Detention Center for numerous felony charges without bail.
Ontario PD wants to remind shoppers to pay attention to their surroundings while shopping. Suspects like these two use different distractions and bump techniques to steal personal belongings from purses, backpacks, or jacket pockets.
We will continue to conduct similar undercover operations to deter thefts and arrest thieves. And as always, if you see something, say something.
