PUBLIC NOTICE - SCHEDULED HYDRANT FLOW TESTING & FLUSHING IN SOMERSET, MA

The Town of Somerset Water Department will be conducting hydrant inspections today, March 8, 2023, which will include flow testing and flushing in the area of Brayton Point Road from Jackson Avenue north to Wilbur Avenue, then moving east towards Del Tom Lane.

Please note residents and businesses in the area of Brayton Point Road, Jackson Avenue, Rice Avenue, Briggs Avenue, Crestview Avenue, Williams Court, Fortier Street, Lawton Street, Ellenwood Avenue, Parsons Lane, Nora Avenue, Bayview Avenue, Shirley Avenue, John Street, Del Tom Lane and Wilbur Avenue could experience some temporary discoloration of their water and or loss of water pressure due to the hydrant inspections and flushing operations. As a precaution, please check your water before using. Somerset Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
