Reminder: Coyote Safety Town Hall Meeting, Wednesday, March 8th at 6:30 p.m., Public Safety Center, 8301 Garvey Avenue
Rosemead residents and businesses are invited to attend an in-person Town Hall Meeting held at the Rosemead Public Safety Center at 8301 Garvey Avenue on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. This event is hosted by the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments (SGVCOG) in partnership with the City of Rosemead.
This meeting is intended to provide an informational forum for residents to learn more about coyote behavior, reporting, and what community members can do to safely coexist with coyotes. A presentation on SGVCOG’s Neighborhood Coyote Program will be provided and representatives from the Los Angeles County Agricultural Commissioner/Weights and Measures, and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife will serve on a panel to answer questions.
The program provides residents and businesses with a toll-free number to report coyote encounters and incidents, and provides educational resources and referrals to foster human and pet safety, including:

- Workshops and Training
