Narrative:
 
A total of six juveniles from Thousand Oaks were arrested after Thousand Oaks patrol deputies and detectives caught them spray painting graffiti vandalism on multiple walls within Conejo Community Park. 
 
On March 5th at approximately 2:30 pm, six juveniles were caught spray painting graffiti vandalism on multiple walls within Conejo Community Park.  Evidence was located at the scene connecting the juveniles to the vandalism.  All involved juveniles were arrested on charges of 594(b)(1) PC and 186.22 PC, Graffiti Vandalism for the Benefit of a Street Gang.  Four of the juveniles were booked at the Ventura County Juvenile Justice Center, and two were released to their parents with a written promise to appear in court.   
 
The Thousand Oaks Police Department encourages citizens to immediately report suspicious people and vehicles by promptly calling 911 or our non-emergency line (805) 654-9511.  If you see something, say something.
 
Graffiti Removal
 
If you see graffiti, please report it immediately to our graffiti removal hotline (805) 449-2488 or send an email to the City at [email protected]. Please provide the following information:  Address or street name and cross street of the incident. A detailed description will help crews locate the graffiti quickly.  Structure type or object the graffiti is on. Your name and phone number in case crews are unable to locate the graffiti.  The City will also remove graffiti from private property that is visible from the City's public right away, free of charge upon request.
